OBJECTIVE OF TRAINING

Faced with the present complexity of radiotherapy techniques (informatics, quality assurance,), on the one hand, and the requirements in terms of radiation protection and health safety (determination of effective doses in radiology for example) on the other hand, it appears necessary to set up a university training level (Bac +3), meeting the current needs of hospitals in qualified professionals. It is also wise to take into account, on the one hand, the phenomenon of staff turnover due to retirements and, on the other hand, to provide technical managers with the possibility of pursuing studies in a rapidly expanding field. This is the objective of the BTS specialty Radiology and Medical Imaging.
